A Hair transplant giving a Density of more than 55 hair per Sq cm is labelled as Hyper Dense transplant. This can not be planned for each and every patient, as it takes a lot of extra time and labour as well as Cost is also increased with these factors.
A Hair transplant Surgeon, should always assess the Donor area for the availability of the follicles, the mucopolysaccride under lining of the recipient site should also be assessed by the Surgeon.
Care should be taken, by newer over enthusiastic surgeon, not to push the follicles to a greater depth. Nor too much pressure should be applied as it will cause pressure necrosis of hair follicle.
